How To Install LAMP(linux-apache2-php5-mysql) With One Command

There many ways to install LAMP or php5, mysql and apache2 on your linux but i found an easy way to do that with one command:

  • Open your terminal as and type:
sudo apt-get install  lamp-server^

it will install all packages needed then ask you for mysql-root-password.

  • Open your browser and type localhost/

It will show you this message

You can find this page on /var/www/ directory, also you can start creating your new projects here.

  • To install phpmyadmin, run this command:
sudo apt-get install phpmyadmin

then add phpmyadmin to apache configeration

sudo nano /etc/apache2/apache2.conf

– Add this line

Include /etc/phpmyadmin/apache.conf

– Then restart apache

sudo service apache2 restart
